My definition of heaven is … A day without 1,000 emails

One thing I never leave home without is … My British accent

First thing I do in the morning is … Make sense of the 1,000 emails from the previous day

Favorite travel accessory is …. My tolerance for unlimited liquor on overnight flights

My personal style is … British natty

Favorite designer is … Thom Browne

What I wore today was … A skinny Dunhill suit

Favorite song … “Wild Horses” by the Stones

Ski or après ski? Apres, duh. If you had my in-box you’d be drinking too

Favorite scent and the memory it triggers … Acqua di Parma’s Blu Mediterranean “Mandorlo di Sicilia” fragrance. It reminds me of the Hotel du Cap

Favorite drink … Pimms — a British classic.

Favorite destination … The Seychelles

The best meal I’ve ever had … Honey Roast Sladedown Duck at Moor Hall Restaurant. Mark Birchall is a good friend and a master chef. Liver and truffle is the best food sex you’ll ever have.

When I go to a five star hotel, the first thing(s) I do is … Check out the bar. If it’s not cool, leave. Nothing worse than a boring bar

Personal motto  … “It’s better to light one candle than curse the darkness.”

Last book I read … Who has time for that?

My favorite movie quote … “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.” Winston Churchill was genius.

Best thing to do on a rainy Saturday night … Turn off my phone

I most often dream about … Turning down Kate Middleton at Annabelle’s. The ‘what could have been’ haunts me.

My guiltiest guilty pleasure is … My expense account
