Matt Sheldon, Chief Operating Officer at 360bespoke, is a highly experienced public relations professional with nearly 20 years in the business. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a B.A. in communications and Brooklyn Law School with a J.D., he went on to start as an associate and was promoted to Director of Communications for the prestigious law firm of Newman, Fitch, Altheim & Meyers. From there, he transitioned into full time public relations where he worked as an account executive on a team representing a diverse group of corporate clients at Edelman. As he continued to gain valuable experience in the world of marketing and communications, he transitioned into more of a business strategy role and accepted a position as the Director of Business Relations at AMW Public Relations. There, he helped the firm grow by leveraging his existing and new business relationships which saw the company experience a major increase in revenue. Matt went on to accept a position as Senior Vice President at TSA Public Relations where he was responsible for overseeing a number of major corporate and governmental clients. Finally, after nearly 18 years in the business, Matt decided to launch his own firm, Precision Public Relations, which handled a wide array of clients’ PR needs, as well as being retained to work with outside communications firms on specific client projects and events.
Over his years of experience, Matt has enjoyed great successes and represented a diverse group of clients such as celebrity athletes NFL legend Jim Brown and Mike Tyson, fashion brand DKNY, governmental clients the FDNY, the PBA and Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, hotel chain Holiday Inn and real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman, in addition to other well known companies and brands in the corporate, banking, hospitality, construction, tech and real estate industries.
Matt is a lifelong New Yorker, having grown up on Manhattan’s Upper East Side where he attended the prestigious Allen Stevenson School and Dwight High School. He is an avid sports fan which led him to become a boxing promoter, where he produced the Black Tie Boxing Series for ESPN with shows being held at Cipriani Wall Street. He has also been a significant fundraiser for various charitable organizations and political campaigns on a local and national level. Through his endeavors, he has had the pleasure of personally meeting with six sitting and former U.S. Presidents.
